Overbite - treated with Dental Orthopaedics and Osteopathy
This man presented with head/neck/shoulder and jaw pain, along with headaches and a general lack of energy. His extreme overbite and mandibular prognathism initially indicated that orthognathic surgery would be the best option. Conservative treatment has been successful with 90% reduction in symptoms and full rehabilitation of the facial features and dentition.
The patient is happy with the end result and grateful that he did not have to go through major jaw surgery.
